Our collaborative process is all about bringing together the creative talents of authors and artists to produce something truly special. We believe in fostering strong partnerships and working together to ensure that our stories are both visually stunning and intellectually engaging.

Publication
What to Expect
We believe that our books are the perfect way to showcase your artistic ability. We also show your work on our social media platforms. We don't want to just get you credit for your work, we want to get you recognition.
We want to help you build your brand as we build ours!
Conceptualization
Often, here at Quetzalli Publishing, our best story ideas start as drawings. We draw fun characters, which form personalities, fun concepts, and eventually great stories. We take artwork seriously. We draw a few iterations of a character, and when we are ready, we approach an artist to further develop the concept art.
Because of the effort that we put into the early concept work, by the time we pull an artist in, that artist should have enough direction to easily continue with further development or even the final illustrations!
Collaboration
Artwork is central to our stories. We believe that it is just as engaging the words on the pages. In fact, we have even changed and updated parts of our story based on artwork that our artists have submitted to us. As such, your artwork can greatly influence the story!
Not only that, but we stay engaged during the illustration process. We will often draw directly onto the images to make edits and corrections easy!
Throughout this process, you will feel like your voice, your opinion, and your work matters.
